July Favorites

This month just FLEW by!! I cant believe Its August and my 26th birthday and 4 year wedding anniversary are just a few days away!! Insane! Anyways, here are my favorite beauty products for the month of July. These are the items that I found myself reaching for time and again.

Inflatable Foot Soaker
This is a little inflatable foot soaker I found at this great discount store a friend told me about called 5 Below. It came with all the tools you could possibly need for your at home mani & pedi, all for $5! I had never heard of this store until I moved to NY, they didn't have them in Miami. Proactive Solutions
I started using the 3 step system in the beginning of July and I have seen huge results in the texture of my skin and complexion all together. In the first few days of using it, the texture of my skin was so soft and my pores had shrunk dramatically. It did take a while for me to notice a difference in the amount of acne I was getting but  around the 30 day mark, I looked in the mirror and realized I only had 2 pimples, and they where already healing. I never had terrible acne but I always had at least 4 or five pimples, large or small, on my face at once. I have very oily skin and this system is helping a little but I haven't noticed to much of a difference in oil control. I love the Acne Treatment! If I see a pimple poppin up, I apply it at night and by the next morning it is either gone or on its way to being gone. I cant wait to see what my skin will look like in another month! Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place SPF 10 in Intensity 3.0
When I stopped by my local Estee Lauder makeup counter, I was initially interested in the Double Wear foundation. The girl at the counter warned me that it was a very heavy, full coverage formula and that I might like to try the Double Wear Light. I took home a 10 day sample of both so I could decide for myself. She was right! The Double Wear made me feel like I had a mask of foundation on! Your complexion looks flawless but, for everyday use its just to much. The Double Wear light was perfect! It covered everything I need it to and it doesn't look cakey or too overdone. I HIGHLY recommend this foundation!! It is officially my favorite foundation! It claims to claims to wear for 15 hours and control oil and let me tell you, it does just that! Its a little pricey for $35 but, in my opinion, if your going to invest in any one beauty product, it should be your foundation. Click HERE for more details on the Double Wear Light.

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in 01 New Black
Some people have sensitive skin well, I have ultra sensitive eyes! Every time I would wear eye liner or anything close to my water line, my eyes would get blood shot read right away! Not cute! So I went on a hunt for an eye liner that wouldn't irritate my eyes. I talked to the girl at Sephora and she recommended this. Its been working pretty well so far. It doesn't irritate my eyes, and it lasts almost the entire day. I usually have to retouch once a day. Only downside is that she handed me the New Black which is more of a grayish black and not the Really Black which is the darkest shade they have. It comes in an automatic pencil twist up form with a smudging sponge on the opposite end. It costs $15 which is more then I would normally pay for an eyeliner but in my case, it was highly necessary. NYX Nude on Nude Pallet
I did a haul on this when I got it last month, and I haven't stopped using it since. All the colors are so rich and gorgeous and so wearable. You can create an endless a number of looks with this one pallet. It is very known for being a dupe for Urban Decays more expensive NAKED pallet. Click HERE to buy.
YIKES! Forgive my pasty white looking skin! I'm in desperate need of a tan! lol

Benefit Erase Paste
I had heard so  many great things about this product, I had to test it out for myself. I love how it its a salmony (is that even a word? lol) color. It not only conceals your under eyes circles, canceling out any blue/purple, but it also brights up the are. Its texture is a little thick, it blends well but it tends to be a little cakey if I'm not careful.

Cover FX  Radiant FX Luminescent Powder in Golden Bronze
I bought this on a whim when I saw is on sale on Sephora.com and I am so glad I did! I have enough bronzers in my collection to last me a lifetime but, I keep reached for this one product over and over again.  It gives you skin a truly sun kissed look with a healthy radiant glow. If im in a hurry getting out the door, all I do it sweep a little of this on my cheeks and Im out the door. Cover FX is known for their amazing coverage in ever single one of their products, and this one is no exception. Yes its a luminescent bronzer but, it strangely enough has covering properties. I dont know how they do it but, I LOVE IT!

Maybeline Color Sensational High Shine Lipstick in color Mauvilous Shine
LOVE LOVE LOEVE! Thats all I really can say! Love! Its like a lipgloss and lipstick in one. It goes on so smoothly and hydrates your lips but still adds just enough color. I have them in almost every color! Click HERE to buy.

Urban Decay All Nighter Spray
I spotted this little guy while I was in line at Sephora (u know, those little plastic bins full of goodies! They always get me!) I had been wanting to try the De Slick but they only had the All Nighter in the smaller bottles. I had never tired any sort of makeup setting spray so I was thrilled to take this one home. I works so well! All you do is spray it on your finished makeup look and go. It helps keep my makeup looking fresh and in place. Im glad I got the smaller $11 bottle to so I can keep it in my small clutch when the hubby and I hit up NCY at night. Click HERE to buy.

WEN Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment
Although the WEN Cleansing Conditioner didn't work out, this incredibly thick and nourishing leave in treatment is a keeper! I usually put it in my hair at night and wash it out in the morning. It helps my hair stay hydrated, healthy, and shining. I LOVE the minty smell! Im so careful with how much I put in my hair because I dont want to run out! I dont know if I can just reorder the Re Moist Treatment without all the other products in the set.

What are some of your favorite products in July??

  1. I found out about 5 below when Ana moved to Baltimore. It's like her mecca. ha ha She mails me things from there all the time and it's a must go when I visit her. The Proactive kit thingy didn't work for me. It made my skin peal and super dry. I actually broke out more the three months I used it. ha ha It just wasn't worth the price for me.

  2. My friend at work told me about it so me and the girls drove up there, its kinda far from the house tho. They have so much good stuffff!! We will go when u come visit me lol. What kind of skin do you have? Dry? oily? I have very oily skin so thats why it didnt dry out my skin but, when i use the spot treatment, if I use it to many days in a row it will dry out that area. You just have to play with the dosage a little to find the perfect fit. I mix things to. I started using Salma Hayeks new Nuance line and so far I love it. Gonna do a little review on it next week. What do you use now?
